Well, the test yesterday did not go well and I have to have emergency gallbladder surgury. Not only is the duct obstructed by a large stone, but the gallbladder has stopped functioning all together and it is so inflamed that the dr. can feel it from the outside. He said it needs to come out this week or it will get infected and then it can become fatal.
I go in on Thursday morning and I thank you all for your continued prayers. I will try to post an update as soon as I can.

Oh no! Good luck... you'll be in my prayers!
~Briy
Best wishes to you on a smooth and uneventful surgery. I know a lot of people that have had to have their gallbladders out and they all did well ( most in and out in a few hours ) and recovered quickly so I am sure you will do just fine!!
Let us know!

Ekkk! Good luck! That sounds sucky.
You will be fine. Think of all the weight you will lose by not being able to eat anything afterward. LOL!
I will be thinking of you.
Will keep you in our prayers. Hope all goes well.
Good luck to you on a fast surgery & quick recovery! Sorry to hear that you have to have it done. I'll keep you in my prayers! (((hugs)))
All the best :)
You'll be in my prayers!
I hope that your surgery goes well and you have a speedy recovery.
Best of luck! Try not to worry: I had my gall bladder out 10 years ago and all went just fine.
Take good care of yourself.
For those that are following Jessica's progress, she made it through the surgery just fine and was about to go to la-la land last night when we spoke. She was still in a lot of pain but also on a lot of meds. (I could hear the clicks of the little button in the background, lol)She was spending the night in the hospital and should be coming home this morning if all goes well. I don't look for her to post for a few days so I will try to keep everyone updated on my blog.
Have a Blessed day,
Jessica's Dad
I am sure you will be fine but sending prayers your way anyway. Hmm, how much do gallbladders weigh anyway?
