Checking In Quickly...

I have been very ill since Sunday and it turns out my gallbladder has gotten loads worse so the SB diet isn't for me either. Now I'm facing surgury and having to go to a nutritionist since I now need to be on a low carb, low fat, low salt, low cholesterol, no greens diet. What's left but water? I was down another pound as of Monday but I'm sure after this fantastic liquid diet to calm my stomach the pounds will be droppin like flies. I'm sick, I'm down, I'm tired and I'm looking forward to getting better!

I'll write more when I'm feeling better.

Oh no, you poor thing, that stinks!

My goodness, I guess you can eat only chicken and fish? What *is* left? Hope the nutritionist helps you out.

I'm sending healthy vibes your way!

Oh, I hope things start getting better. Take care of yourself. A hug is on it's way through cyberspace. Arms wrapped around! Take care.

From what I understand, for most people it's the fat content of foods that causes the most problem. While that eliminates or restricts cheeses and full-fat yogurts, etc., it does give room for low-fat, high-fiber breads and such.

A few years ago, my mother had an emergency gall bladder removal two days before Thanksgiving. I wish you could have seen what all she ate the Saturday after Thanksgiving. :)

I'm so sorry you're not feeling well; but please keep me posted. My DH is scheduled for gall bladder removal April 7 (so that he can be home all week "recovering" while The Master's golf tournament is on television).
